VIDEO TRANSCRIPT: If you've had a spinal cord injury, the damages that I look at can be significant. The first thing that we want to look at is the extent of the injury. Spinal cord injuries can have a wide-ranging impact. I've had clients that have been paralyzed from spinal cord injuries. Their medical bills are significant. You can have significant past treatment, and look at future medical bills, future needs.

Sometimes, we have to look at what's called a "loss of earnings projection" or a "future needs assessment", or something that's called a "life care plan", which will project out how much money it's going to take to provide for your care into the future. And, if you can't work anymore, or your work is limited, then we want to look at your future loss earnings. So, the damages can be significant and can be very complicated to piece together to make sure there's a full recovery.

I'm attorney Karl Truman, and if you have any questions about what I've talked about, call me for a free consultation: 502-222-2222 or email our law firm now.
