Karl Truman is active in both the legal community and his home community. Mr. Truman is an emeritus of the Board of Directors for the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, and he has served on the Town Council of Sellersburg, Indiana, as well as on the Sellersburg Planning and Zoning Board, and the Board of Zoning Appeals.

While on the Sellersburg Town Council, Mr. Truman also served as liaison to the Sellersburg Police Department. He is also active in the Democratic Party, and has served as a local precinct committee member and as president of the Clark County Democrat Men’s Club. Mr. Truman is also a member of Leadership Southern Indiana.
